According to Bloomberg, Facebook is now worth 82.9 billion dollars. The value of the company since mid-December grew by more than 40%.
By value, Facebook is the second American Internet company, in the first place and still there is Google, but Amazon has sunk into third place. The value of the Amazon is estimated at 75.2 billion U.S. dollars, while still elusive Google earned first place with its 192 billion U.S. dollars assessed value.
Nonetheless, Amazon still has a 17 times more revenue than Facebook and Amazon for the last year reported 34.2 billion U.S. dollars turnover.
